SCF micro-loans funded:

Soa Fianaranana is a group of artisans producing embroidered items, ranging from bed coverings and pillow slips to wall art, clothing and accessories. Under the strong leadership of Florine Ravaorisoa, the group has been transformed from a small cooperative to a modestly profitable enterprise. With a SCF micro-loan, the group moved from a makeshift plastic tent to a new, permanent building that serves as both workspace and store.  Soa Fianaranana can look forward to steady growth and creating much-needed local employment.

The art is in the details: each piece of embroidery tells a story.

Soa Fianaranana is helping to keep Madagascar’s cultural heritage alive.
